Welcome to Top Edge Productions.
We are an Oxford-based touring theatre company who have been producing and performing since 2003. Since our first production, the award-winning Grass, based on the life and work of John Clare, the company has worked on a variety of projects.
Our dynamic one-man Hamlet, Hamlet: Cut to the Bone, which was first shown at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2005, continues to tour nationally. Upcoming dates can be found on the What’s On page.
The Pirate, the Potato and the Camel trilogy, currently two-thirds complete, forms the basis of our activities in children’s theatre; the final instalment will premiere at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival next summer.
We also run a read-through group for exploring plays by new writers. The group is made up of people of all backgrounds and experience; of anyone who enjoys reading text aloud and getting to know new plays. We’re constantly on the lookout for playwrights who would be interested in trying out their new work hearing it read aloud.
